WHAT IS A REGISTERED DIETITIAN (RD)/REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST (RDN)?

Registered Dietitian's have earned a minimum of a bachelor's degree, completed at least 1,000 supervised practice hours in a variety of health settings, and have passed an exam through CDR to earn their credentials. They are food and nutrition experts who can translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. RD/RDNs use their nutrition expertise to help individuals make unique, positive lifestyle changes. They work throughout the community in hospitals, schools, public health clinics, nursing homes, fitness centers, food management, food industry, universities, research and private practice. RD/RDNs are advocates for advancing the nutritional status of Americans and people around the world.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

South Bloomfield Nutrition has a cancellation policy such that clients must give notice more than 24 hours in advance of their appointment. If cancelling within 24 hours but before the appointment window, you will be charged a fee of $30. Extenuating circumstances may waive this fee at South Bloomfield Nutrition’s discretion. Currently, no-show invoices will be mailed to your address for payment. Payment is expected within 30 days of receiving the invoice.

DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?

At this time, health insurance is not accepted. However, South Bloomfield Nutrition intends to work with insurance in the future. In the mean time, a "super bill" may be provided to show detailed costs of services that may be submitted to your insurance on your own behalf. The insurance provider may or may not cover the service provided.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Checks, cash, and PayPal are accepted at this time. There is a $35 returned check fee.
